Paul Gronke, Director

Paul Gronke, DirectorFor more than two decades, Gronke has been engaged in research on electoral behavior and public opinion. His scholarly credentials include extensive experience with social science research design and quantitative methodology. He has published one university press book, book chapters, and more than a dozen peer-reviewed articles. Gronke is well-versed in public outreach, serving as a commentator on local television and radio and writing opinion pieces for regional and national papers. He is experienced in disseminating information to large and diverse audiences, and has extensive connections in the scholarly community with prominent experts on the issues of voting administration, voting technology, and early voting. James Hicks, Research Director

James holds a BA in Political Science from Reed College and an Undergraduate Diploma in American Studies from the University of Nottingham. His academic interests are centred on theoretical and empirical approaches to political representation and public opinion.

Bailey Schreiber, Research Assistant

Bailey is a Reed sophomore studying for a degree in Political Science.

Eva Galanes-Rosenbaum

Eva Galanes-RosenbaumNow at the London School of Economics and Political Science, studying for a Master's degree in Comparative Politics, Galanes-Rosenbaum was formerly Associate Director of EVIC. She has extensive experience with election canvassing, geographic information systems, and working with local election officials and secretaries of state through her work for EVIC.

Peter Miller

Peter MillerPreviously EVIC's Research Director, Peter is now in his first year as a PhD candidate at UC Irvine. He is a 2006 graduate of Reed College (with a BA in Political Science), and his interests include election systems, transitional justice and state violence.
